R3VHC - Male Camp
Our target audience for this serial is Male only Military, First Responders and Veterans. Assisting participants that are looking for an outlet for challenges is exactly what this R3VHC can accomplish.
The five day camp is designed to provide the learner with the knowledge, techniques and skills required to understand basic riding, horse care, and stable requirements. The camp will expose the benefits of horsemanship with our Veteran community in the hopes of teaching a new skill with amazing residual effects of stress-reduction, anxiety control, and goal setting. The learner will receive one-on-one assistance and feedback from experienced instructors and facilitators, who are also Military, First Responders, and Veterans.
The ideal participant will be able to work in austere environments and have a positive work ethic. It is important to note that participants must be physically able to conduct manual labour, climb stairs, lift a 40lb saddle shoulder high, and be outdoors for extended periods of time. Dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated at this time.
Applications have closed for 2024 and participants have been selected. Please stay tuned to this website and our social media platforms for information on 2025 opportunities. Thank you for your service.
